SSP-502-65-CR
DETAILS
EMI Gasket Material in Continous Rolls
SSP-502-65-CR is a 65-durometer (Shore A), electrically-conductive silicone that's filled with nickel-coated-graphite particles and produced in continuous rolls for use with automated processing equipment such as Preco machines. This very conductive EMI shielding material can be supplied in thicknesses between 0.015 and 0.062 inches, and in widths from 3 to 15 inches. It has a third-party EMC shielding effectiveness test report according to MIL-DTL-83528F.
EMI Gaskets For Stronger Supplier Scorecards
By manufacturing continuous rolls of SSP-502-65, Specialty Silicone Products (SSP) can produce the equivalent of 600 15’ x 20’ molded sheets in one day. SSP’s lead time for this conductive silicone elastomer is one week, which is five times faster than that of competitors. For EMI gasket fabricators who need to provide parts kits to defense contractors, SSP’s faster lead times support stronger supplier scorecards.
Continuous Rolls of EMI Gasketing Materials
Compared to molded sheets, continuous rolls of EMI RFI silicones also promote optimum yields for cost-effective conversion. Automated processing eliminates time-consuming user operations and helps to reduce material waste. Converters and gasket fabricators can process various thicknesses of SSP’s conductive silicone elastomer without incurring new tooling costs.
